SBE- Goods & Service: 1% LICENSE REQUIREMENT: General Building Contractor; General Engineering; Pipe Lines; Pipelines Engineering Contractor; Underground Utility / Excavation SCOPE OF WORK: The Project consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the repair and rehabilitation of on short length of 72-inch PCCP gravity interceptor at Bayshore Drive that has a conflict with an existing 54-inch storm drain those dates back to the original 1950 construction. The conflict location has deteriorated due to sewer gas corrosion and is currently leaking at the junction location. The work shall include, but not be limited to, establish an MOT to detour and close the intersection; exploratory excavation to field identify all existing utilities; sheet and shoring to allow for dewatering to the top of the 72-inch Interceptor; establish a dewatering system with sedimentation tanks; construct a system to support the 54-inch drainage with I-Beam, straps and concrete supports; apply waterproofing hydraulic cement to prevent infiltration into the Interceptor; coordinate with WASD forces to schedule a shutdown of the 72-inch Interceptor; furnish (3) three inflatable 72-inch plugs for the shutdown; perform at least two manned entries into the Interceptor; entering the Interceptor for surface preparation and epoxy grout coating; installing the customized drainage support system inside the 72-inch Interceptor; install a concrete protective coating that cures rapidly and can be installed in humid conditions with a high resistance to corrosion; establishing ventilation for confined space manned entry; complying with all OSHA requirements for the work of this project; TV inspection for recording work performed; permitting; obtaining noise waiver from City of Miami; traffic control; pedestrian traffic control; preparation of design/shop drawings for the trenchless repair method; removal of manhole corbels to install the inflatable plugs; furnishing and installing new manhole corbels; pavement restoration; milling and resurfacing; restoration brick pavers; all other surface restoration; and any other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete, functional and satisfactory installation for the project at Bayshore Drive and NE 20th Terrace, located in the City of Miami, Section 30 Township 53 Range 42.
