Renovation of a multi-residential development in Hartford, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
**As of March 3, 2023 , project will rebid no definite date for the rebid.** The Housing Authority of the City of Hartford (HACH) is seeking sealed bids for the following Project: CO Detector Replacement at Smith Tower, Betty Knox Apartments, and Kent Apartments in Hartford, CT. The contractor must be a certified Simplex installer in order for their bid to be considered. 5% Bid Security (above $25K) and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds (above $100K) are required as applicable. Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246), and related provisions in the General Conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days. Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents. This project is federally assisted. Therefore, bidders must comply with the following requirements: Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Equal Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; Non-Discrimination provision of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Labor Standards provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and related acts and Contract Work Hours Standards Act; prevailing wage determinations as issued by the United States Department of Labor; and all applicable provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
