The project is expected to be awarded on February 9, 2023.** The work of this 300 calendar day project consists, in general, of furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services and supervision necessary to complete the work depicted on plan set AA-4301 for the project titled "Ben E. Nutter Terminal Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation", including, but not limited to: the installation of new sewer pipelines, rehabilitation of existing sewer pipelines, construction of new sewer manholes, rehabilitation of existing sewer manholes, abandonment of various existing sewer pipelines; and performing all associated work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. A California Class A contractor's license is required to bid this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded any contract for the project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a). This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
