Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The proposal shall be submitted with the attached Bid Cover Sheet completed in its entirety. Warranty information, when applicable, shall also be included & submitted. All work to be performed during normal working hours. If bid price is over $25,000 or more, bidder must be signatory to relevant union, per terms of the Various Trades Contract and Project Labor Agreement. If bid price is over $75,000, you MUST include your MBE/WBE subs and relevant forms at time of bid. This bid is for project management and financial oversight relating to the BAS upgrade work by Automatic Building Controls (ABC): Automatic Building Controls, LLC is pleased to quote the total replacement of existing stand-alone controls for HW system and (2) AHU AC Units and incorporate them into existing Distech BAS/Enterprise N4 Tridium server for a total budget of $ 48,315.00. The scope is as follows: Hot Water System Existing hot water system has (7) boiler modules with (2) pumps controlled by stand-alone heat timer panel. o Demo existing controls and heat timer panel. o Furnish, install, and wire ECB-650 with needed I/O module in a new TCP. o Furnish, install, and wire (7) control relays to stage each boiler. o Furnish, install, and wire (1) outside air temperature sensor. o Furnish, install, and wire (2) water (HWS & HWR) strap-on temperature sensors. o Furnish, install, and wire (1) control relay to pick up existing low water cut if switch. o Furnish, install, and wire (1) control relay to pick up existing high temperature limit switch. o Furnish, install, and wire (1) emergency shut-off switch at the entrance. o Furnish, install, and wire (1) CO sensor. o CPS will provide a standard sequence of operations for the standard equipment. ABC will customize the sequence of operations and program to fit the existing equipment. o Complete programming, Graphics, Trends, Histories, Alarm classes/extensions, Schedules, Station/points naming, Database structures/organization, Backup routing, etc., per the CPS's newly deployed N4 standards. o Complete startup and point-to-point system check. Following work needs to be done others: o Replace existing defective automatic boiler feed fill system. (Stanton is aware of what needs to be done) o Water balance entire HW system and reset all circuit setter as they are wide open. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: o The quotation is valid for 30 days o Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice Page No. 2 AHU-1 AC Unit: This unit has existing stand-alone 2 stage Carrier outdoor Cooling Units controlled by Ranco thermostat that is interlocked with the AHU fan. o Demo existing controls and remove Ranco thermostat. o Add I/O module to existing ECB-600 controller to add following points: o Furnish, install, and wire (2) control relays to pick up existing 2 stage. o Furnish, install, and wire (1) 12' averaging discharge air temperature sensor at the cooling coil. o CPS will provide a standard sequence of operations for the standard equipment. ABC will customize the sequence of operations and program to fit the existing equipment. o Complete programming, Graphics, Trends, Histories, Alarm classes/extensions, Schedules, Station/points naming, Database structures/organization, Backup routing, etc., per the CPS's newly deployed N4 standards. o Complete startup and point-to-point system check. Thank you. 1) Contractor to secure necessary permits. 2) Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. 3) Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification. 4) Materials and installation must comply with CPS Standards and Specifications 5) Secure job site overnight if work is not completed in one day. 6) If building or CPS properties are damaged during construction, contractor to replace and/or repair as necessary. 7) Provide necessary labor and materials to fix/correct issues preventing any or all of the projects to be marked as completed. 8) All work shall be coordinated with the Board authorized representatives to complete in an agreed upon time frame. 9) Contractor is to remove and dispose of materials torn out and any construction debris. 10) All trash must be removed off-site by contractor. 11) Clean the surrounding area and make sure all is swept of debris. 12) All questions/requests must be received two (2) business days prior to bid closing.
