The purpose of this RFP/Q is to solicit proposals for the design and construction of new solar photovoltaic (PV) carport and rooftop structures at up to seven facilities. The project shall include the electrical wiring and conduits to convey the generated energy to the main electrical panel at each facility, and all other equipment and infrastructure required to grid-connect the solar energy generating facilities. Additionally, proposals may include options to include a battery storage system for any or all facilities for which a solar PV system has been proposed. Question Submission Deadline:January 10, 2023, 5:00pm The seven facilities are described as follows. o Grant R. Brimhall Library, located at 1401 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks, is a 74,919 square foot facility and provides library services to the public. o Goebel Adult Center, located at 1385 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks, is an 18,717 square foot facility owned by the City and operated by Conejo Recreation and Park District to provide recreational services to seniors. o Teen Center, located at 1375 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks, is a 13,000 square foot facility owned by the City and operated by Conejo Recreation and Park District to provide recreational services to teens. o Conejo Creek North Park, located at 1379 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks, is a 27-acre site owned and operated by Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) and provides recreational spaces and facilities to the public. o Transportation Center, located at 265 S. Rancho Road in Thousand Oaks, is a 2,439 square foot facility that serves as a hub for Thousand Oaks Transit as well as a major stop for several other transit authorities. Los Robles Greens Golf Course, located at 299 S. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks, is a 23,452 square foot facility that includes a golf course, driving range, clubhouse, golf shop, restaurant, and event space open to the public. o Newbury Park Library, located at 2331 Borchard Road in Newbury Park, is a 31,852 square foot facility and provides library services to the public.
