The dam's control structure regulates levels on Buffalo Pound Lake and controls releases into the Qu'Appelle river system downstream. The scope of the work is to provide contracting services to: Site preparation (clearing, grubbing, grading); Demolition work as required to remove existing infrastructure in preparation for new infrastructure; Care of Water; Supply and install all new metalworks, mechanical equipment, electrical infrastructure, and concrete as required to improve the fishway, riparian channel, and main gates including supply and installation of hoists, rigging, and other accessories outlined in the design package; Supply and install all supporting infrastructure: fencing & gates, Control Building, electrical, concrete pads, etc.; Supply and install a new boom and anchorages; Supply and install Public Interaction Around Dams (PIAD) signage and other infrastructure at the Control Structure, and at other nearby areas, as shown on the drawings and as per the WSA Signage Catalogue provided with this RFQ; Site restoration; and Commissioning of new infrastructure in partnership with WSA.
