Site work and paving for a civil project in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (the City) to prospective contractors to submit non-binding quotations for Manhole and Catch basin Casting Repair Services. The City is looking for a qualified contractors to undertake manhole repairs at identified locations across the City. Work will encompass getting locates, traffic protection and routing, road cutting, excavating area around the manhole, manhole and riser repair, replacing surrounding aggregate, and replacing asphalt to finished grade. The term of the contract is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the City to extend the contract on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. The contractor shall provide at least two (2) projects completed in the past five (5) years with a minimum dollar value of $100,000.00. The projects together must demonstrate public sector experience in both adjustment of concrete structures to meet final grade as well as installation of pre-cast adjustment units.
