The Work for Contract 2023-1 is generally described as follows: Furnish, deliver, place and assemble a 20 foot wide by 8.5 foot high by 40 foot long precast concrete box culvert. Excavation and backfill are not a part of this bid. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Bloomfield Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to locally funded public contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Pennsylvania prevailing wages will apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids and Bid Security may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
