The purpose of this Request for Responses (RFP) is to select a vendor that can provide non-destructive testing (NDT) via spot thickness testing on pipes of any diameter. These mains will generally be located within the Nassau, Duval, and St. Johns Counties on both a defined and on-call testing basis. No quantity of work is guaranteed. The purpose of the testing is to determine the thickness of the pipe section at the requested location. JEA anticipates that the contractor will offer its best technology and expertise to cost effectively, efficiently, and safely perform the non-destructive testing on the ferrous mains with no service disruption to JEA customers. Further information can be found in Appendix A - Scope of Work.
