Site work for a road / highway in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. C-1588A. It Is Mandatory That the Bidder Shall Acknowledge the Inclusion of All Addenda on the Bid Form, Form Bf. Acknowledgement Shall Be Made by Initials and Date. Failure to Acknowledge All Addenda Shall Result in Rejection of the Bid. Bid and contract bonding are required. This project is funded by the State of Florida grant program. The DBE Participation Goal established for this project is (0%); however, DBE participation is strongly encouraged. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision inclusive of, but not limited to provide for underdeck concrete repairs to the existing concrete wharf Berths 5,6,7 and 8 at the Talleyrand Marine Terminal. The project site is located to the east of Talleyrand Avenue at the intersection Talleyrand and 11 th Street, and the wharf are to be repaired fronts the west shore of the Saint John's River for approximately 2,911 feet. The site is currently occupied by various Tenants, who use the berth for general cargo loading and offloading operations. 1. Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) will be performing underdeck concrete repairs to the existing concrete wharf Berths 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the Talleyrand Marine Terminal. The project site is located to the east of Talleyrand Avenue at the intersection of Talleyrand and 11 th Street, and the wharf area to be repaired fronts the west shore of the Saint John's River for approximately 2,911 feet. The site is currently occupied by various Tenants, who use the berth for general cargo loading and offloading operations. 2. The existing structure typically consists of a prestressed concrete pile-supported marginal wharf with a steel sheet pile bulkhead located approximately from 40 to 60 feet landward of the waterside face of the wharf. The lateral restraint system for the bulkhead consists of battered precast concrete piles driven on the water side of the existing bulkhead with a concrete cap/wale beam constructed integrally with the wharf deck. The wharf deck is constructed with precast concrete slabs and a cast-in-place topping, and it is overlain by gravel ballast and asphalt pavement. 3. This Contract will provide for performing underdeck concrete repairs to the existing wharf structure. Also included in this Contract is an underdeck inspection performed prior to execution of repairs so as to identify areas for repair and estimate repair quantities. Deadline for Questions is Wednesday, February 24, 2021 @ 12:00 PM (EST).
