The Merrimack County Nursing Home has 16 geothermal wells that provide heating and cooling for the facility. This project is to address ongoing periodic failures in the system. There are two components to this project, an upgrade to the existing geothermal well system as outlined in Work Package 1 and a rehabilitation project to the wells themselves as outlined in Work Package 2. This project is outlined in further detail in section four (4) of this document. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to acquire offers from various vendors, conduct a fair evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best provides the County with the desired product and service. Merrimack County is a government facility that operates under the discretion of elected officials that manage county finances. All bids will be subject to approval by the Merrimack County Board of Commissioners. The County of Merrimack may cancel this RFP or may reject in whole or in part all responses if County of Merrimack determines that cancellation or rejection is in its best interest.
