Renovation of a communication facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a communication facility.
PGW needs a point-to-point layer 2 dark fiber connection from a basement location at 800 W. Montgomery Avenue to its North Operations Center at 5000 Summerdale Avenue. The Circuit Availability (or Uptime) must be greater to or equal than 99.95%. The selected Proposer must respond to PGW and create a ticket for conditions that do not meet the required uptime. Each proposal should include the credits to be received by PGW for any failure to meet an SLA. This must be fully fiber, 100% end to end. Billing should only begin once the circuit has been successfully tested by PGW and turn-upped. A Connection is considered two direct, unlit, non-routed segments/strands of single-mode fiber. Fiber cable may be jumpered at any distribution point as necessary, but will not connect to any routing, terminating, re-transmitting, or other electronic monitor equipment. Lead time to turn-up may not exceed 120 days. Proposer must include aerial view of path for the fiber run. Any Questions Regarding This Opportunity Must Be Submitted No Later Than 1/3/2023 2:00 PM
