Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ankeny, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Southbound Lanes project includes the full depth removal and replacement of PCC street pavement for the southbound lanes from SW Ordnance Road to just south of West First Street in the City of Ankeny. The improvement includes the construction of approximately 8,750 SY of 9" PCC Class C-SUD pavement, 400 SY of 9" full depth PCC Class C-SUD patching, 2,600 LF of subdrain, removal of 10,100 SY of subgrade to a depth of 6" and replacement with subgrade preparation, modified subbase, paved medians, driveways, sidewalks, new pedestrian push button and associated traffic signal work at the SW State Street and SW Ordnance Road intersection, cast-in-place replacement of storm sewer intakes, water valve installation and water valve removals, City--owned electric line installation and electric line removals, pavement removal, pedestrian ramps, pavement markings, signs, temporary traffic control, erosion control, final surface restoration, mobilization, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project.
