Renovation of an educational facility in Manteno, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of roof replacement on 7 different roof areas of the Manteno Middle school as designated on the drawings. There are (2) alternates that divides the roof sections up from what is base bid and what is an alternate as shown on the drawings. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for All Work. Checks shall be made payable to Manteno CUSD #5. Digital copy of the bid documents are available for $75 non-refundable deposit. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Architect will not receive bidders questions after 5pm on January 11 th , 2023 unless the bid opening date is changed by addendum.
