**As of April 10, 2023, this project has been awarded to AC Pavement Striping in the amount of $32,245.94. Sealed proposals will be received in the office of the Kankakee County Board. No proposals shall be issued after 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 21, 2023. 2. Description of work: a) The proposed work is officially known as Section 23-07000-00-GM Manteno Township. (b) The proposed improvement is to be Micro-Surfacing, Double Pass, Mixture C in Manteno Township. 3. Instructions to Bidder: (a) Proposal guarantee by bank cashier's check, certified check, or proposal bid bond in accordance with the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation adopted January 1, 2022 will be required. (c) A surety bond for the full amount of the award will not be required. 4. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. 5. This is an Illinois Prevailing Wage project.
