Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Valleyview, Alberta. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Construction of a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to supply safe and reliable water for Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation (ISC Project No. CU263). The new WTP will be built adjacent to the existing water treatment plant and the current infrastructure (intake pumphouse, raw water ponds, transfer pumphouse, piped network) will be reused in the new water system; and will have a treatment process that involves coagulation, sedimentation, dual media filtration, nanofiltration (RO/NO membrane system), and chemical system. The facility will also have 1 truck fill pump, 2 backwash pumps, 2 blend water pumps, and 1 emergency standby pump. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Tendering process may proceed mid-2024, pending finalized plans. Further update at that time.
