Renovation of a mixed-use development in Chipley, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Description of Work: 1) Fire & Police Station - delivery of a 4 FT X 750 FT single closed end Cofferdam around the building enclosing the immediate parking lot. Stored Cofferdam will be deployed manually before the storm to form a portable floodwall like structure around the building. This will control 3 ft. maximum still water and sediment and hence, prevent the flood water intrusion into the immediate parking lot and the building protecting any equipment outside and inside the building as well as the building structures from flood damages during future similar disasters. Cosmetic alterations must be approved by the city prior to work being done. Bidder is responsible for site inspection for verification of field measurements and/or building existing conditions, supervision of installation by others, and inspection training after installation completed by others (includes written deployment plan) to ensure bid is accurate. IMPORTANT: Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: "City of Chipley Fire & Police Station Mitigation Project" and identified by the Name of the Company, Name and Number of the Bid, along with the Date and Time of Opening. Bids will be received by either hand delivery to the City Clerk's Office located at 1442 Jackson Avenue, Chipley, Florida or by mail at City of Chipley, Attention: City Clerk's Office, Post Office Box 1007, Chipley, Florida 32428 by the Bid closing deadline. Late submittals received after the aforementioned deadline date, either by mail or otherwise, will not be considered ad will be returned unopened. The time of receipt will be determined by the time received in the City of Chipley City Hall - City Clerk's Office. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor for assuring that the bid is received in the City Clerk's Office by the designated date and time. No faxed, electronic or oral bids will be accepted. SPECIAL NOTE: The City requires a business license tax be paid for the privilege of engaging in any business within the city limits. Please contact the City Clerk's Office for a fee schedule. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The City of Chipley reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
