Site work for a water / sewer project in Mercer Island, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Update both the south and north water reservoir tanks based on recommended improvements to protect the structural integrity and create a safer working environment. Such improvements include seal welding roof plates and rafters, replacing exterior ladders with spiral staircases, and adding a guardrail around the tank roof perimeter as well as relaminating interior linings and overcoating exteriors. Project is included in the City of Mercer Island's FY 2023-2028 Budget CIP. As of January 30, 2023, this project is currently in planning/design. A design team has been identified. Information regarding a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
