The District of Squamish is undergoing several improvements at the Queens Way Sanitary Lift Station. The improvements will be carried out in multiple phases. The goal of this project, i.e., the current phase, is to add underground civil site piping, valves, and structures to have bypass pumping up and operating following which the next phase (not part of this contract) can commence. The improvements in this contract includes underground sanitary sewer and force main, an underground fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) tank, an underground precast concrete valve chamber, and associated piping and valves as shown in Appendix E and described below. The District has retained Stantec to provide the consulting engineering services for this project. Stantec will act as the designer of record for the upgrade project, and as contract administrator for the general contracts which include supply and installation.
