Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, 20-room elderly care / assisted living facility; for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
In general, the work primarily consists of construction of a new shelter facility primarily used for sleeping and meals. The new facility will be a 6,000 square foot, wood framed, one story building. The facility will have 20 sleeping rooms each with their own toilet room, office space and a breakroom for staff, laundry rooms, a dining room, and a kitchen. Site work will include asphalt paving, parking stalls, sidewalk, grading, and seeding. As of September 1, 2023, construction on this project has begun and is underway. According to the general contractor, all trades on this project are currently let.
