As of August 1, 2024, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. It recently received a monetary donation. It is anticipated construction could start in 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: City of Fort Wayne Pufferbelly Trail Pedestrian Bridge over State Road 930/Coliseum Boulevard between Lima Road and Speedway Drive (Des # 2201280) in the Fort Wayne District. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP is being issued to solicit a letter of Interest (LOI) and other documents from firms qualified to perform engineering work on federal aid projects. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered.
