The City of Redwood City is seeking proposals from qualified vendors with proven experience to provide a health risk assessment report. The report shall use the United States Environmental Protection Agency four-step framework (hazard identification, dose-response assessment, exposure assessment and risk characterization) shall be used for this assessment. The analysis shall show the fine particulate matter (PM 2.5) exposure on this site from nearby uses. The report shall also offer recommendations on how to mitigate any and all air quality issues discovered. The contract is expected to be awarded in January 2023 with the expectations to have the report issued by June 2023. Deadline for Questions and/or Inquiries January 9, 2023 City Issues Responses to Written Questions and Comments January 12, 2023 Questions regarding the information contained in the RFP document must be submitted in writing, by email to: Chris Beth: cbeth@redwoodcity.org All questions must be received by 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2023 Questions will be responded to via email. Written summaries of all questions and answers will be distributed to each company who submitted a Letter of Intent to Respond by 5:00 pm on January 6, 2023 Anonymity of the source of specific written questions will be maintained in the written responses. A clarification addendum will be issued, if necessary. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
