Corrugated Metal Pipe / Dual Wall Plastic Pipe Following the bid opening the bids are reviewed by various staff members in order to make a recommendation to the County Board of Road Commissioners at its next regular meeting. During this time period the bids are closed and information regarding the bids is not available. Bids will be awarded at the next regularly scheduled Board Meeting of the Board of County Road Commissioners following the due date for receipt of bids. Notification of the bid award will be mailed to each bidder on the next business day following the Board Meeting All metal pipes shall meet MDOT Standard Specifications for corrugated metal pipe. Pipes sizes 60" and above shall be 3" x 1" corrugation. These specifications are as published in the current M.D.O.T. Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. Prices quoted for corrugated metal pipe and bands shall be per foot of length at the "inside diameter" specified. All necessary hardware for connection bands shall be furnished and shall be considered incidental to cost of material. Bands required for 24" or more diameter pipe will be 2 foot width bands in two pieces. N-12 WT IB Dual Wall Pipe: Smooth interior wall with corrugated exterior. Gasket joint pipe shall be joined with a bell-and-spigot joint. The bell shall be an integral part of the pipe. The gasket shall be installed by the pipe manufacture and covered with a removable wrap to ensure the gasket is free from debris. Manufactured pipe must meet current ASHTO M-252, M-294 or ASTM F2648 specifications. HP Storm Dual Wall Pipe: Dual wall construction with smooth interior. Gasket joint pipe shall be joined with a gasket integral bell and spigot joint. The gasket shall be installed by the pipe manufacture and covered with a removable wrap to ensure the gasket is free from debris. Manufactured pipe must meet current AASHTO M330 or ASTM F2881. The joint shall be watertight according to the requirements of ASTM D3212. Gaskets shall meet the requirements of ASTM F477 Most all pipe orders will be in truck load amounts. Each successful bidder will be required to execute a "customer - supplier" agreement with the Road Commission detailing the expectations and course of dealing expected of both the supplier and the Road Commission. The agreement shall be in a form selected by the Road Commission. Copies of a sample customer - supplier agreement may be obtained at the Lenawee County Road Commission office at the above address.
