The Proposal (s) shall be for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for performing all work required for the construction of the Water Supply and Treatment Plan Improvements, complete in their entirety without exception. Bidders should carefully examine the plans, contract documents, and proposal; visit the site of the work, and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or the costs thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the plans, specifications, or other documents, or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he should at once notify the Engineer. Any response to discrepancies or omissions will be in writing by the Engineer to all bidders. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials WILL be required by the Cresson Crossroads MUD #2 . Contractor must also have public liability and workmen's compensation insurance and shall show evidence satisfactory to the Owner of same with his Proposal and proof of insurance prior to the execution of the contract. No bid bond is required for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date bids are opened.
