David Douglas School District Construction Manager/ General Contractor Repair & Renovation Projects That Require Long Lead HVAC/ Electrical Scopes of Work at West Powellhurst Elementary School, Floyd Light Middle School & South Powellhurst. Request for Proposals RFP Number 1.24.24.1 The David Douglas School District is seeking proposals from experienced Construction Managers/General Contractors (CM/GC) to manage construction of David Douglas School District Repair & Renovation projects that require long lead HVAC/Electrical scopes of work at West Powellhurst Elementary School, Floyd Light Middle School & South Powellhurst in Portland, Oregon. The CM/GC firm or firms selected will be providing services during the design, pre-construction and construction phases. It is the intent of the David Douglas School District to enter into a contract with the selected CM/GC firm or firms, which will include a fixed fee and guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the entire scope of the work. A mandatory pre-interview meeting, for the shortlisted firms, will be held the week of March 4, 2024. The contract is for a public works subject to payment of prevailing rate of wage as provided in ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
