Site work for a civil project in Apex, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Bids will be received under the Single-Prime bidding method only. Bids must be on the standard form provided in the Project Manual. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: approximately 9 acres of 40-mil geomembrane and geosynthetic ballast system; approximately 6 acres of 20-mil geomembrane and geosynthetic ballast system; earthwork and surface preparation; various liner tie-ins; landfill gas features including geocomposite, shallow collection pipe, and wellheads; stormwater management measures including perimeter channels, diversion berms, culverts and structures; and surveying. All work will be in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications which are on file in the Wake County Facilities Design & Construction Division office at 336 Fayetteville Street, 12th Floor, Raleigh, NC 27601. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities.
