As of February 9, 2023. The project has been awarded with the amount of $1,400,309.25. The project consists of, but is not limited to, the following major elements: Offeror agrees to furnish all materials and equipment and to perform all labor necessary to install 8,100 LF of 12 PVC water main, 400 LF of 16Ductile Iron water main with restrained joints, jack and bores, fire hydrants, valves, fittings, and all related work.Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashiers check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an A minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of Bests Key Rating Guide Property Liability. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful offerors if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a Power of Attorney authorizing the attorneyinfact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. Preconstruction Conference: February 16, 2023 Time allotted for completion of Work is 150 consecutive calendar days from the date of a written Notice to Proceed from OWNER. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Proposals and to reject the Proposal of any Offeror if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Offeror, whether because the Proposal is not responsive or the Offeror is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
