Site work for a water / sewer project in Canal Flats, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) is seeking a contractor to build a debris flow mitigation system comprised of a water diversion, settling basin and barrier. The project is located on Cold Spring Creek, above the community of Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia. The contractor must have construction expertise in roller compacted concrete, cast in place concrete, earthworks, road building, and watermain installation among other things. The contractor must be able to provide past projects and client references to demonstrate their abilities. The RDEK intends to pre-qualify up to 5 contractors, who will subsequently be invited to bid on the construction tender in early 2023. The tender will be evaluated and awarded based on the total price of the bid. The construction contract will be MMCD, to be completed in 2023.
