WVU Beckley Carter Hall Facade Renovation to repair and replace stonework. West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors for the replacement of the Carter Hall Facade. Cutoff for Questions: Date: January 11, 2023 Time: 12:00 pm EST Substantial Completion shall be August 1, 2023 Final Completion shall be August 10, 2023 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
