CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 1/13/2023 5:00 PM For the Kline's Island WWTP Primary Digester No. 2 Cleaning project in accordance with the Contract Documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond (in the required form) or certified check for ten percent of the Bid total. A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond are also required prior to award of the Contract. This Project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. See the Instructions to Bidders for additional information and requirements. It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall have a minimum of (5) years' experience and at least (10) completed projects of similar nature to the Work required by this Project. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within fifteen (15) days after the contract has been awarded. Bids shall remain open for a period of sixty days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. The Contract will be subject to the prevailing minimum wage determination established by the Department of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The LEHIGH COUNTY AUTHORITY hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
