Description

Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Appomattox, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

All questions to be submitted to Hurt & Proffitt by the end of the day on thursday january 19, 2023. The Project Includes the Following Work: Demolition of an Existing Raised Sidewalk Along Church Street and Lowering the Sidewalk to Be at Road Grade. Concrete Steps to Be Installed to Property Owners That Connect to the Proposed Sidewalk. Stormwater Pipes From Roof Drains to Be Connected to an Existing Storm Structure, in Which the Top Must Be Replaced. Streetlights Will Be Placed Along Multiple Roads in the Downtown Area, as Well as Town Signs. Installation of Conduit for Power Between Lights and Breaker Boxes. All of This is Shown on the Plans and is Described in the Technical Specifications. Include Complete Street Mailing Address With Zip Code, Telephone and Fax Number With Area Code, and Contractor's License Number, if Applicable. No Partial Sets Will Be Distributed. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are open to public inspection at the following locations: 1) Town of Appomattox Town Hall located at 210 Linden Street, Appomattox, VA 24522 2) Hurt & Proffitt, Inc., Inc., 2524 Langhorne Rd., Lynchburg, VA, 24501.
