Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Oregon City, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Remove, replace and dispose of various concrete and paving flatwork surfaces at various addresses throughout Clackamas County. Questions: Shall be submitted in writing to HACC Attn: Josh Teigen at joshtei@co.clackamas.or.us. Questions submittal deadline shall be January 12, 2023 @ 2:00pm. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Housing Authority of Clackamas County, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A separate performance and payment bond in a penal sum of 100 percent of the contract price is required from the selected Bidder prior to the execution of the contract. See HUD-Form 5369 Instructions to Bidders for details. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, economic opportunities for low and very low income persons, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications on this project. As permitted by state law and required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development: a. Retainage is 10 percent, not 5 percent. b. Interest will not accrue on retainage, and c. Bonds or securities may not be substituted as an alternate form of retainage. The Housing Authority of Clackamas County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. All requests for substitution shall be received 5 days prior to bid due date. There will be no exceptions. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of Clackamas County DRIVEWAY/SITEWORK: 1. R/D 24" section of A/C driveway as indicated. Saw cut as required/indicated to remove. 2. Contractor to remove and store aluminum ramp onsite. HACC to re-install. 3. Excavate as required to install new 4" base for new driveway. Compact new base to 95%. 4. Install new 3" A/C driveway (@ 48" addition) and 2" overlay over existing driveway as indicated. 2" overlay shall be installed over ramp concrete landing area. Seal and sand saw cut area. Slope to drain away from building. 5. After completion of install contractor to back fill with clean soil to prevent any undermining/abrupt edging. Power wash clean at completion. NOTE: Work to take place between 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Unit(s) will be occupied during construction and install. The contractor shall at all times protect the site, landscaping and building during demolition and construction. Any damage created will be the contractor's responsibility to repair. The site shall be cleaned of all construction debris at the end of each day. All work performed, as a result of this procurement shall be conducted in strict accordance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations. Even if not specifically detailed in the Scope of Work, Drawings or Specifications all work shall be accomplished in accordance with all current building codes. The contractor shall be responsible for all permits, locates and fees necessary to perform this work. The contractor and all subcontractors shall read and adhere to all specifications included as part of the Invitation to Bid.
