For Emergency Tree Services - Bergen County Parks Questions Due Date: Jan 6th 2023, 3:00 PM EST BC-bid-22-45 provide emergency tree removal services as required by the county of bergen, Dept. Of Parks; for the 12-month period commencing on date of award with two (2) 12-month renewal options. Bidder must be a Licensed Tree Care Operator N.J.S.A. 45:15C-11 et.seq. The work performed within this portion of the contract shall be accomplished at all times of any day in all types of weather conditions. Removal of any size tree upon notification from the County of Bergen Department of Parks or designee. Office (201) 336-7275 Work shall start within two (2) hours, twenty-four (24) or seventy-two (72) hours depending on the severity of the emergency which shall be determined at the time by the Tree Superintendent or his designee. County right of first refusal for material. Vendors are required to provide the County of Bergen with tonnage reports for all material disposed. Personnel and Equipment required: Three (3) men, consisting of a foreman/crew chief, climber and grounds man. Each crew shall have its own truck, with forestry bucket (minimum fifty-five (55) foot working height) with chip box, log loader truck, disc or drum chipper (minimum capacity twelve (12) inch diameter), as well as all saws and other incidental tools required to complete the work. Certified Arborist must be readily available on-site for job consultation.
