Harmony Master Lift Station Questions concerning this bid must be submitted on or before 2:00 p.m., January 19, 2023 The estimated amount of this bid is $10,000,000.00. 1. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, plant power, light, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, and means of construction necessary for proper performance and completion of the Work. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary local building permits. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work in the manner best calculated to promote rapid construction consistent with safety of life and property and to the satisfaction of the Engineer and in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall clean up the Work and maintain it during and after construction, until accepted, and shall do all Work and pay all costs incidental thereto. He shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the Work. 2. The cost of incidental work described in these Project Requirements for which there are no specific Contract Items shall be considered as part of the general cost of doing the Work and shall be included in the prices for the various Contract Items. No additional payment will be made, therefore. 3. The Contractor shall provide and maintain such modern plant, tools, and equipment as may be necessary, in the opinion of the Engineer, to perform in a satisfactory and acceptable manner all the Work required by this Contract. Only equipment of established reputation and proven efficiency shall be used. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for the adequacy of his workmanship, materials, and equipment, prior approval of the Engineer notwithstanding. Scope- Construct new master lift station at the south end of the Harmony Development in Winter Haven. The work shall include raising the site 2 feet and installing a 2-foot retaining wall and 6-foot privacy wall around the perimeter. Installing a 500-foot access driveway with permeable pavers, a sliding entrance gate, and a telemetry tower to relay remote meter collection data back to WWTP No. 3. Receiving, coordinating, installing, and starting up owner-purchased equipment to include: four 150-horsepower submerged centrifugal pumps, grinder, flow meter, bypass pump, emergency generator, and odor-control assembly. Purchasing and installing the balance of the facility to include: wet well sections, lift station piping/valving, yard piping, splitter box, 1,000-gallon diesel fuel storage tank, master manhole, motor control center (MCC) building, flow meter vault, pervious pavement, privacy wall, retaining wall, poly trench drain, site lighting, piping, valving, ductwork and appurtenances to tie into the 24 inch force main, and to connect all equipment as indicated on the Drawings and Specifications. Coordinating with local power utility to bring power on site install a transformer and connect to the MCC building. Installing and interconnecting all electrical and instrumentation devices. Providing conduits to route fiber optic lines in the future from the fiber optic pull box immediately outside of the privacy wall to the MCC building. This balance of facility work shall include, but not be limited to pipe, fittings, valves, air valves with enclosure or vaults, testing, connections to existing mains, crossing other existing utilities, asphalt pavement restoration and replacement, dewatering, and restoration to areas disturbed by construction.
