Architect shall be responsible for the professional quality and technical accuracy of all studies, reports, projections, master plans, designs, drawings, specifications and other services furnished by Architect under this Agreement as well as coordination with all Master plans, studies, reports and other information provided by District. Architect shall, without additional compensation, correct or revise any errors or omissions in its studies, reports, projections, master plans, design, drawings, specifications and other services. West Contra Costa School District Facilities Master Plan of 2016 included facility recommendations for the Kennedy High School. The Critical Needs project for Kennedy identified the need to demolish buildings 100 and 200. The functions currently housed in these two structures will be temporarily housed in the recently vacated portables on the site's Southside. The creation of the demolition package is part of this RFQ/P. The demolition project must run in parallel with creating the scoping documents for the modernization project. The District expects the selected architectural firm for Kennedy High School to have two teams assigned to the project. One focused on the demolition project, and one focused on the scoping and design of the modernization project. Questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing and directed only to facilities_procurement@wccusd.net. All questions must be submitted by 5:00 PM on January 12, 2023. District may respond to questions presented via addenda to this RFQ. Firms must NOT contact any other District personnel directly with inquiries regarding this RFQ. District reserves the right to contract with any Firm responding to this RFQ for all or portions of the Services, to reject any Response as non-responsive, and not to contract with any Firm for the Services. District makes no representation that participation in the RFQ process will lead to an award of contract or any consideration whatsoever. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
