The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a term contract to provide wet fire suppression system (sprinkler system) inspections, testing and hydro testing services, repairs, alternations, and new installations on a scheduled and "as needed" basis for Hanover County and Hanover County Public Schools. It is the County's intent to award contracts to a Primary Contractor and a Secondary Contractor for both Part 1 and Part 2. The Primary Contractor will be contacted first when services are needed. The Secondary Contractor will only be contacted if the Primary Contractor is unavailable. Period of Contract: From Date of Award through December 31, 2023(Renewable) All inquiries for information should be directed to: Sandy Humerickhouse Purchasing Officer II, (804) 365-6104 or sshumerickhouse@hanovercounty.gov and must be received no later than five (5) working days before the due date.
