The City of South San Francisco (City) is requesting proposals (RFP) from qualified Civil Engineering Firms (Consultant) to provide professional engineering services for the Storm Drain Master Plan Update Study. At the conclusion of the study, a prioritized short- and long-term Capital Improvement Program (CIP) plan with detailed descriptions and cost estimates shall be prepared based on the findings. An analysis of the current funding mechanisms will also be part of this Master Plan, as well as a review of the state of the practice in California for funding maintenance and capital improvements of Storm Drain Infrastructure. The goal is to develop a comprehensive Storm Drain Master Plan (SDMP) that assesses and inventories the existing storm drain systems and identifies strategies for planning, budgeting, and improving the storm drain systems based on current conditions, future growth, and emergency situations. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
