Compensation Type: Fixed Rate of Compensation Q&A deadline: 12/30/2022 11:00 AM County(s): HUMBOLDT, EUREKA, LANDER Augmentation of Crew 908 on Contracts 3931, 3955, and 3889 in District III This RFP is for augmenting crew 908 on three (3) concurrent projects in the Humboldt, Lander, and Eureka Counties as follows:Contract #3931, on I-80 west of Battle Mountain, includes the rubblization of existing concrete pavement and plantmix bituminous surface overlay placement. Contract #3955, on I-80 east of Battle Mountain at the Rosny Creek Grade Separation, is a mill and overlay operation to include Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and lighting components. Contract #3889, on US 95 from south of State Route (SR) 140 to Albisu Road, is a mill and overlay operation to include hydraulic and safety improvements. The Department is seeking to hire one firm to augment crew 908 on Contracts for three concurrent projects in the Humboldt, Lander, and Eureka Counties. Contract #3931, on I-80 west of Battle Mountain, is the rubblization of existing concrete pavement and plantmix bituminous surface overlay placement. Contract #3955, on I-80 east of Battle Mountain at the Rosny Creek Grade Separation, is a mill and overlay operation to include Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and lighting components. Contract #3889, on US 95 from south of State Route 140 to Albisu Road, is a mill and overlay operation to include hydraulic and safety improvements. The exact construction schedule and administrative staffing needs may fluctuate throughout each project's duration and will be coordinated as necessary by the DEPARTMENT. Consultant personnel are expected to begin work in March of 2023. Projects are estimated at approximately at 150 working days.
