Site work for a mixed-use development in Edison, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The purpose of this contract is to remove two (2) existing natural turf athletic fields and furnish and install new synthetic turf field systems located at Papaianni Parks Edison Jets Field (370 Central Avenue) and Baseball Field (On POW-MIA Blvd. to the left of the park entrance off of Municipal Blvd.), including a standard underdrain system, stone subgrade, drainage improvements tying the underdrain system into the existing storm sewer system, multi-purpose field markings, fencing, sports equipment, and associated site restoration work as directed by the Township, in accordance to the project plans and specifications. Soil testing has not been performed at the site to determine if any contamination is present. Due to the location of the site, it is not anticipated that any contamination exists. In the event that contamination is found during the contract, compensation for same will be made under the line item Allowance for Work Not Specified. Project is to be completed in 150 calendar days after contract award and receipt of the notice to proceed. The Edison Jets Field construction is to be complete and open for use by July 15, 2023.
