Renovation of an educational facility in Sandy, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The purpose of this Request for Bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified suppliers for classroom furniture for Canyons School District (CSD). It is anticipated that this RFB may result in a contract awarded to a qualified supplier for commodities as defined further in the solicitation. This RFB is designed to provide interested suppliers with sufficient basic information to submit bids meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a bid's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. All bid preparation costs and any associated activities related to this RFB are the sole responsibility of the Supplier. When using Utah State Contract pricing, please reference contract number. The bidding Supplier must be properly licensed to do business in the State of Utah. Supplier must be able to deliver and install product between May 15, 2023 and June 1, 2023. Any manufacturer's name, trade name, brand name or catalog number used in the specifications on each line item are for illustrative purposes to provide a model describing general performance and quality levels only. Such references are not intended to be restrictive, and quotes are invited on these and equivalent or better brands or products by any manufacturer. Any specification provided with use of manufacturer's name, trade name, brand name, or catalog number shall control and take precedence over such manufacturer information. However, in the absence of a specification, the manufacturer's name, trade name, brand name, or catalog number shall establish the general performance and quality levels acceptable to CSD. All items that meet or exceed stated specifications will be evaluated on an "acceptable substitute" basis unless stated otherwise. CSD will award the contract based on the best overall value for the District. Question Cutoff Date: 1/18/2023 12:00 PM (ET) Delivery of these items is crucial to the set up and opening of a new school. If the supplier cannot meet scheduled delivery, do not submit a bid. If the supplier submits a bid and fails to meet requested delivery date, CSD will be entitled to a 25% discount fee for late delivery. The supplier shall notify CSD 24 hours prior to time of delivery by contacting the Buyer, Nancy Webb at 801- 826-5418, to obtain school contact information for receiving and delivery confirmation times and dates. This bid will list two types of student desks. One with a four leg and one with a cantilever base. Only one line item of 963 ea. of the desks will be selected. Please price both as the school will be looking at budgets to make the determination on which one will be selected. If you provide a bid that does not meet the specified brand, please attach the specification and send in a sample to have evaluated.
