Renovation of a fire / police facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The scope of work requires the satisfactory completion of the Project as outlined in the specifications and drawings for the capital improvements for Fleet Maintenance Epoxy Flooring Upgrades. The work shall be performed in accordance with this Section C and the Construction Drawings and Specifications (Attachment J.1). In particular, the Contractor shall coordinate the construction work with FEMS. The Contractor shall comply with all the regulations and code requirements that are applicable and as specified to District building construction. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to review all existing documents and conduct site visits to ascertain existing conditions. If a prospective bidder has any questions relative to this solicitation, the prospective Bidder shall submit the questions in writing. The prospective Bidder shall submit questions no later than 4:00 p.m., EST on December 23, 2022 through the DGS portal using the link below. The District of Columbia Department of General Services ("DGS" or the "Department") is issuing this Invitation for Bids ("IFB") to engage a Contractor certified as a Small Business Enterprise ("SBE") (the "Contractor") to provide all necessary services, supervision, permits, labor, supplies, equipment, and materials to perform capital improvements for Fleet Maintenance Epoxy Flooring Upgrades (the "Project") located at the District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services' ("FEMS") locations: 1101 Half Street SW, Washington, DC 20024. The Contractor shall complete the Project's requirements, in accordance with Section C, Specifications/Scope of Work Statement ("SOW") and Attachment J.1, Specifications and Drawings.
