For the construction of the Wolfpit Industrial Park - Fire Suppression Water Storage Tank Excavation The Project will consist of the excavation in preparation for a fire suppression water storage tank located near the community of Wolfpit in Pike County, Kentucky. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The most current federal wage rates will apply. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Section 109 and E.O. 11246 and Title VI and other requirements. MBE/WBE bidders are encouraged to bid. The winning contractor must be registered with SAM.gov by the time of the award. Failure to complete this registration as noted will constitute a disqualification of any such bidder. The U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration is providing partial funding for this project (EDA Investment No. 04-79-07644). No bidder may withdraw their bid within 5 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
