Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; office development; office development; and office development.

Currently a Carehawk CH1000 system provides hallway communication capabilities via intercom, paging, and emergency notifications. CHSD 218 would like to expand the current system to include intercom, paging, and emergency notifications to every classroom and office as well as additional speaker capabilities on the exterior of the building. Some areas will also require emergency call button installations. The Bid will be awarded by the School District to the vendor whose Bid is determined to be the most advantageous to the School District, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this Bid. The Board of Education of Community High School District 218 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to accept that bid which is considered to be in the best interest of the School District. Any such decision shall be considered final. The School District anticipates awarding this project in its entirety to one vendor. However, the School District reserves the right to split the award of this project. CHSD 218 further reserves the right to reject any and all bids and seek new bids, or modify a bid when such an action would be deemed in the best interest of CHSD 218. All bids shall be submitted with each required submittal properly completed. Bids may not be withdrawn or modified in any way by the vendor without the written approval of the District. All vendors will be bound by any math calculations, misquotes, or mistakes of any kind once the proposal has been opened. A minimum of three (3) references must be included. These references must be school districts of similar size using similar intercom/communication equipment. Please include name of contact, telephone number, and indicate the years of service with each reference.
