The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work, paving and new construction of a 22,565 square foot educational facility. As of February 10, 2023, a construction manager has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The construction manager confirmed that the bid tabulation for this project will be certified by the city council on March 20, 2023, and will be released after the certification. The trades being sought on the project include, but are not limited to, the following: Concrete, Masonry, Metals, Wood, Plastics & Composite, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Equipment (batting cages and associated site work), Grandstands, MEP, Earthwork and Utilities, Openings / Finishes /Specialties Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bidder's bond or cashiers check in the amount of five percent (5%) for all bids exceeding $20,000.00, made payable to Tate General Contractors, Inc., Jonesboro, Arkansas. No partial sets will be issued. All bidders must be licensed in the State of Arkansas, as provided by Act 142 of 1967, amended by Act 293 of 1969, and Act 397 of 1971, and Act 546 of 1971, as enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond using AIA Document A312 with cost of these bonds to be included in bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids.
