Renovation of a laboratory facility in Yuma, Arizona. Working plans call for the renovation of a 891,594-square-foot laboratory facility.

No definite date for the rebid.** The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: The phased renovation of the second and third floor Science Lab of an existing High School including selective demolition, new drywall and metal stud partitions, new finishes, cabinetry refinishing, mechanical and electrical work. For bid #70-23-7-2 yuma high school science lab Renovation project All questions related to the Solicitation shall be in writing and directed to Lynne Ford, Director, via email to lford@yumaunion.org. PURPOSE The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to enter into a contract with a qualified bidder to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services for the YUMA HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE LAB RENOVATION PROJECT. The Yuma Union High School District No. 70 is seeking qualified general contractors who can provide construction services for the renovations of the science labs at the following high school campus: Yuma High School 400 S. 6th Avenue Yuma, AZ 85364 SCOPE OF WORK: Yuma High School Science Lab Renovation Project is to be completed in two (2) phases descripted below: Phase Descriptions: Phase 1 (3rdfloor construction) NOTE: All high noise activities or above ceiling work in occupied spaces will need to be coordinated with the district and occur outside of school day hours. (This may be early or after school hours during the week or weekend work) Additional note: All above ceiling work/ lower level work must be made safe and cleaned each day prior to students/staff arrival. Contractor will be responsible for access to and from construction areas for the duration of the project. o Mobilization on site and prep 3rd floor spaces for demolition, including temporary partitions, etc. for protection of existing to remain materials and spaces. o There will need to be clear separation of construction areas with appropriate signage and classrooms areas on the 3rd floor as the existing spaces on the floor not in scope of work will still be accessible during construction. o Demolition of 3rd floor areas within scope o Construction of 3rd floor areas. o Punch and Substantial Completion o Separate C of O for 3rd floor space o Demobilization from 3rd floor space o 3rd floor to be complete and ready for students Fall 2023 (August 1, 2023). Phase 2 (2nd floor construction) NOTE: all high noise activities or above ceiling work in occupied spaces will need to be coordinated with the district and occur outside of school day hours. (This may be early or after school hours during the week or weekend work) Contractor will be responsible for access to and from construction areas for the duration of the project. o Mobilization to 2nd floor spaces for demolition, including temporary partitions, etc. for protection of existing to remain materials and spaces. o There will need to be clear separation of construction areas with appropriate signage and classrooms areas on the 2nd floor as the existing spaces on the floor not in scope of work will still be accessible during construction. o Demolition of 2nd floor areas within scope o Construction of 2nd floor areas. o Punch and Substantial Completion o Final C of O for project. o Demobilization from project. o 2nd floor to be completed and ready for students by start of 2nd semester, January, 2024.
