Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Halifax Water is seeking to qualify a number of contractors to provide construction services for the upgrades of the Quigley's Corner and Bissett Lake Pump Stations. The Work generally consists of upgrades to the existing Quigley's Corner wastewater pump station at 1516 Shore Rd in Eastern Passage and the Bissett Lake wastewater pump station located at 54 Atwood Crescent in Cole Harbour. The upgrades are separate projects at the wetwell/drywell stations which both contain equipment nearing the end of its useful lifecycle and requires replacement. The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to the removal of existing equipment, pumps, piping and valving, building modifications, roofing, supply and installation of piping, valves, electrical, controls, mechanical equipment, stairways and platform replacements for below grade drywells and wet wells. The Work includes supply and installation of Owner preselected pumps and also includes the provision of extensive temporary pumping systems to permit by-pass of the stations for the installation work.
