Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. Working plans call for site work for a military facility; and for the construction of a 123,784-square-foot, two-story above grade military facility.
Design-Build; construction of a two-storey, 11,500-square-metre warehouse and office building to be located within the Hartlen Point Canadian Forces Base property (Location of Proposed Project Latitude: 44.597715 Longitude: -63.449806). Other work to include improvements and additions to the access road, creation of sidewalks and a 2000+ square meter parking lot for 120-180 staff/service contractors/trainees/visitors, a large septic system with tank and fields, exterior HVAC for building needs and computer equipment cooling, a back-up generator, fuel storage tanks, radio frequencies towers, roof-top radar equipment, security outbuilding and security perimeter fencing surrounding the entire complex. TIMELINE: Detailed design is ongoing. Site preparation work is expected to continue on till fall 2024. Construction of the facility is expected to proceed in early winter 2025.
