Renovation of an educational facility in Carson City, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,235-square-foot educational facility.
As of March 7, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Site Directions: See campus map on sheet A0.1 for directions to Cedar Building at Western Nevada College. Marlette Hall is located at the east end of the Cedar Building. Campus address is: 2201 West College Parkway, Carson City, NV 89703 Base Bid Description: This project involves the repurposing of an existing terraced lecture hall. The scope of work includes partial demolition of an existing concrete terraced floor and existing lay-in ceiling. New work includes new concrete slab on grade, retaining walls and stairs with stainless steel metal handrails, a new lay-in ceiling, complete new AV system and new plastic laminate clad 5- and 7-seat student work pods. Contract Time: 151 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $848.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project.
