Renovation of a detention facility in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The living units are currently equipped with double interlock preaction systems. Contractor shall price the removal of existing preaction systems, replacement of valves, piping, and sprinkler heads. The existing systems utilize galvanized allied xl piping. In areas where piping is to be replaced, new pipe shall be black steel schedule 40 piping for pipe sizes 2" and smaller, and black steel schedule 10 piping for 2 1/2 and larger. New piping shall be installed in the same location as existing piping when possible.
