Site work for a water / sewer project in Flowood, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project scope is the removal of existing water meters, water meter encoders, and endpoints and the installation of City-furnished water meters, water meter encoders, and endpoints. The work required will include the removal and installation of 1400 water meter encoders and endpoints and the removal and installation of 100 water meters, water meter encoders, and endpoints as shown on the Construction Plans and Specifications. The total Contract Time will be 120 consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages at $500.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. No prospective CONTRACTOR may withdraw his proposal within SIXTY (60) DAYS after the actual date of the opening thereof. The CITY OF FLOWOOD reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities or to reject any or all bids. Award will be made to lowest and best bidder as determined by the Owner.
